Birds
March 31, 2008
Spring is definitely here and the birds know it! Last week I came down one morning to look at our feeder and saw a whole flock of siskin zipping around it. Until that day we’d only had our wintering stalwarts the sparrows, starlings, blackbirds and dunnocks but on that morning chaffinches, siskin and greenfinches all arrived at once. I haven’t seen the siskin since and after chatting to a mate from the BTO I’ve found out that they migrate between places in the south and up in the northern parts of britain .. so they were probably passing through. Anyway .. I snapped a few pics ..

Hi Ira, Great photos of the birds, Australias summer is over now with cold nights and mild days.
It must be a great camera that you have.
