Anzac Biscuits

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup coconut
4 oz (125 g) butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons boiling water
1/2 heaped teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Mix oats, flour, sugar & coconut in bowl. Melt butter and golden syrup. Mix bicarb soda & water. Add soda mix to butter mix then stir into dry mix. Cook in a slow oven for 20 minutes.
